Springfield Care Home is registered to cater for the needs of 40 mixed-sex elderly residential service users including those with dementia, providing long-term as well as respite care.

Springfield Care Home is very conveniently located near all amenities available in the centre of Bulwell. There is also easy access to public transport, including bus and train routes, giving easy reach to Nottingham City Centre.

The Home is staffed by experienced carers 24 hours a day, together with a modern hospital-type nurse-call system for residents to summon help at any time. A team consisting of housekeeper, domestic staff and a full-time maintenance co-ordinator ensure that the Home maintains the highest of standards of care and cleanliness at all times.

Refurbishment: New Doors, Flooring and Windows

The Home has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, with new Front Doors at the Main Entrance and new Doors at the Main Lounge Exit as well. The new doors allow more light into the Home, and new windows have been installed throughout the Home. New, modern, anti-slip flooring has also been installed in the foyer, all downstairs and lower ground corridors, upstairs corridors, the Hairdresser's Salon and in all toilets and bathrooms.

The Main Lounge has been redecorated and the Manager's Office has also been refurbished. Visitors, Families and Nurses coming to the Home have commented on how nice the doors and new flooring are, and Staff have said that they feel that the new changes make the Home look more welcoming.
